Lifestyle Helping Hands Seniors Association is a registered, non-profit society whose mission is to assist Edmonton seniors in remaining independent in their own homes for as long as possible. By providing seniors with mobility, we can help them ensure an independent lifestyle.

Core Values

Integrity and Accountability

Being ethically unyielding and honest and inspiring trust by saying what we mean, matching our behaviors to our words and taking responsibility and being accountable for our actions to all our stakeholders – the community, constituents, donors, board, staff, volunteers, collaborators, the government, etc. We believe in modeling this trustworthiness and integrity that earns continuously the public’s high regard for LHHSA. This value reflects an alignment between what we say, what we do, and how we do it.

By providing services to empower seniors, to live independently, to be mobile, we recognize the dignity and rights of all people, working together across lines of age, race, and income to develop quality communities through inclusiveness.

A community that improves the quality of life for people of all ages by strengthening and improving the means by which the community protects, sustains and nurtures its elders; in turn contributes to the well-being and foresight of that community.
LHHSA values collaboration and cohesiveness with other agencies in the community to effectively and efficiently deliver its mission.

Good Stewardship

We are committed to careful stewardship of all human, natural, and financial resources. This means we carefully use the time and talents of those working with LHHSA. We are consciously responsible, and we spend wisely the funds invested in us.
